At New Invention Junior, we plan the teaching of vocabulary in to daily English lessons as starters or Morning Challenges.

We used the 'Word a Day' book from Mrs Wordsmith along with Vocab Ninja to generate words for our children and then work with these using our Word Wizards document.

We come back to words regularly to ensure they are embedded in learning.
