Pupils at New Invention enter the bible story competition!

The bible society have invited five great storytellers to each choose a story from one of the greatest collections ever known: the Bible. Each one has retold their story in a different style: a short tale, a comic strip, a rhyme, a rap and a poem. Click here to view the stories.

Pupils have been invited to become great storytellers too by having a go at writing their own retelling of a bible story. Pupils can select whatever style they like. They could draw a comic, write a poem or just write a simple story.

Charlotte aged 11 was one of five runners-up from a total of over 300 entries. She received her very own copy of a bible and a certificate of achievement. Charlotte rewrote the bible story, Jonah and the Whale.
